Libby von Lisberg is a very sweet, 5-6 year old German Shepherd. Libby stands out with her impressive size and regal presence, but she’s not too sure about her new surroundings and so is reserving her opinion about her new life until she gets some reassurance and clarification. Some things are familiar and comfortable for her as she walks well on leash and listens well. She is a mid-energy girl and does not appreciate pushy dogs; she'll let them know she is not interested in their shenanigans but, with light correction from a handler, she becomes submissive. She wants to do the right thing! She does appreciate affection, although she can be hand-shy with someone she has just met. She is a sensitive girl who is learning that there are calm, sweet dogs and kind, caring humans who will build her confidence and assuage her fears. It will be rewarding to see Libby re-emerge as the stately optimist that she is eager to be.
